Welcome!
I would like us to keep a running commentary on your Writing Fellows experiences via this blog. I expect you to show up on time for the classes, and then post an account of the successes and difficulties of your workshop within five days. I'm thinking your posts should be around 400 words.
How did you organize the group? How did the students respond? Whose lightbulb went off? Who refused to engage? What insights did the group leave with? Were you too directive? Too nondirective? I want you to go beyond mere reporting and try to account for why your intervention did or did not work.
We want to use this blog to share our successes -- the things we did that worked well -- with each other. We also want to share things that did not work well, so that we can troubleshoot the problem situations. I will raise some of the issues you post in class discussion as well.
This is very important -- when mentioning writers your worked with, use pseudonyms.
